another awkward moment

well now...hahaha.

well...sabina was sucha fool. i mean...not in the sense that she seems to know nothing, but in the sense that she makes people laugh. hahaha. wow....

well here goes. hahaha. here's my awkward moment where i was speaking on the phone for wow...an hour....holy crap!!!! an hour!!!! wow....an hour of actual talking with a guy and was actually conversing and not quiet on his end. hahaha. that's kinda funnay. hahaha. but here this is how my phone conversation goes.

me: "hello"
someone at his house: "hello"
me: "egh, may i please speak to matt?"
someone at his house: "matt, pick up the phone!" <---- at least i imagine that's how it was....
me: "hello"
him: "hello"
me: "hello"
him: "hello"
^that continues for about another 6 or 7 times.....
and then i go
me: "AHHHHHHH"
him: "huh? what's happening?"
me: "oh, nothing nothing, i kinda have a favour to ask."
him: "oh wait....are you watching tv?"
me: "huh? no, not watching tv."
him: "but i hear chinese in the background."
me: "haha, matt, what are you hearing?!?! man, you are sooo hearing things ar!"
him: "no i'm serious. wait up. andrew!!!! are you watching tv? *someone in the background says yes* are you on the phone??? *someone in the background goes, oh, you want me to put it down now?* yeah. oh, sorry about that."
me: "hahaha, you are sooo hearing things."
him: "was not. they just didn't put downt the phone, yeah, what was it that you wanted to ask?"
me: "oh yeah, about that...well....my friend is getting baptized tomorrow...."
him: "uh-huh, and...."
me: "yeah, well.....it's gonna be like an hour or two....and...well...i don't think i'll know n e one there....and well egh...erm....well....i was wondering if you were free to keep me company....."
him: "hm....well i don't think i'm doing n e thing..what time is it at?"
me: "it's at 2:30, but i'll probably leave at about 1:30 or sumthing."
him: "okay, wait. gotsta ask."
me: "okie.."
him: *speaking away from the phone, but i could still hear* "dad, well my friend wants me to go to this baptismal tomorrow, can i go?" *i don't hear the answer, but he comes back to tell me n e ways* "well, supposedly, my parents are doing something tomorrow, and they want me to be with them, i'm sorry sabina, but i can't. man, i feel sooo bad now."
me: "wha? why would you feel bad for saying no?"
him: "because, i told you that whenever you need me to do something for me, just ask. and it turns out i can't do this for you. i'm sorry."
me: "ahhh!!!! stop that!!! just stop that!!!! ah!!!! if n e thing, i should be the one that's bad for asking."
him: "huh? why would you feel bad?"
me: "well, i'm surprised you didn't even ask me how i got your house number."
him: "oh yeah, wait..."
me: "no, you didn't give it to me."
him: "oh...i see....how did you get my number...i bet the phonebook."
me: "nopes, on line....you know...there are tons of lau's in oakville??? i'm actually surpised.!!! jenny's daddy is listed under lau!."
him: "what? isn't her last name liu?"
me: "yeah, but her daddy used the cantonese spelling."
him: "oh i see. yeah, back to the topic, why do you feel bad?"
me: "first of all, i hadda search for your number. secondly, i'm asking you to go to a baptismal of a person you have no clue of. thirdly, it kinda sounds like i'm using you so i won't be alone."
him: "blah, well it is kinda embarrasing cause i don't know her. but at least you find comfort in having me there. and no, you are not using me, i told you to ask me whenever you needed something."


well the convo continued...but that was just the most embarassing part=.=

hahahaha.....stingrays can fly!!! wooo whooooo....hahahaha....was laughing for about like 10 mins on that....he is sooo never gonna live that down! hahahaha

normally sometimes after a while...
wow...i've had alot of sabina moments in my life...hahah
